I was thrilled to attend the second Generation Y meeting. This is an incredibly useful networking meeting between early-career group leaders in the quantum sciences. Many vital discussions on group-building, hiring, funding, negotiation and yes, even AI.

Well done to James S, who presented “Structured transverse orbital angular momentum probed by a levitated optomechanical sensor” at the DPG-Spring Meeting. The work was well received, and he gave a great talk.
